Valve manufacturing industry for export purposes in Batam City, Riau Islands, PT Tomoe Valve Batam, has switched to using natural gas fuel from previously LPG. PT Tomoe Valve Batam uses natural gas from PGN to drive production machinery such as die casting and painting.

The addition of new consumers to the industry segment, along with service offerings at competitive prices and optimal efficiency values.

Putera Sampoerna Foundation (PSF) together with one initiative Koperasi Siswa Bangsa (KSB) held industrial visits to PT. YKK Zipper Indonesia on 24 September. YKK is a group of Japanese companies that produce non ferrous metal products, primarily known as the world's largest zipper manufacturer. A total of 20 members who participated in the visit KSB observing and studying the zipper manufacturing process from beginning to end.

Many things come from industrial visits, one of which is able to know directly the manufacture of the product. In addition, through this activity is expected to provide a picture of the working structure of the company, the company's history and other things that will only be obtained in person visit to the industry.
