PT. Saint-Gobain Construction Products Indonesia invested approximately US $ 45 million to build factories gypsum. According to the Managing Director of PT. Saint-Gobain Construction Products Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore, Edward Loy, the factory was the first gypsum.

"Previously we import gypsum. Last year sales are not too aggressive because the rupiah weakened. Seeing it and Indonesian economic growth opportunities, we build factories in Indonesia," said Edward, Wednesday (22/10).

He said the company will be ready to operate the plant on October 28, 2014, having been built in the last 18 months. Although already in operation in October, but the commercial operation is expected in early November and fully operational by the end of 2015.
