PT Dahana (Persero) won the Bisnis Indonesia Top BUMN Awards 2021 for the category of non-public company, non-financial sector with assets above Rp15 trillion. Despite being in a pandemic situation throughout 2020, PT Dahana was still able to record revenues of Rp. 1.6 trillion. "Of course this is our motivation to continue to move and develop better, we say thank you to all levels, commissioners and directors of employees who have struggled in the midst of competition and the current extraordinary pandemic conditions and of course to the customers who have chosen us," said the President. Director of Dahana Wildan Widarman after receiving the award, Tuesday (30/11/2021).

In 2020 and 2021, apart from working on drilling and blasting in the general mining sector, PT Dahana has also been trusted to work on various National Strategic Projects (PSN). Currently, PT Dahana is building an Elemented Detonator explosives factory in the Dahana Energetic Material Center area in Subang Regency, West Java. The construction of this new factory is in order to build the independence of the national explosives industry and minimize dependence on imported explosives, especially in the initiating device sector. The factory, which was built in collaboration between Dahana and Hanwha Corporation Korea, is targeted to be operational in early 2022.

PT. Pindad (Persero) managed to convince three manufacturers of weapons and combat equipment from Europe to make Indonesia a production base. During the next five years, will be a partner Pindad production and marketing of weapons and combat equipment of the three companies in the region.

Widja Widjajanto, Director of Change Management PINDAD mentioned three companies are Cockerill Maintenance & Ingenierie (CMI Defense) Belgian famous as a manufacturer of turret (weapons systems) for armored; SAAB Dynamics AB from Sweden who focus on producing missiles; and Rheinmetall Land Systems (RLS) from Germany, known as the company's maintenance and repair combat equipment in Europe.
