Cold air immediately caught up with him when he entered the antherum cold storage room in Karangsong Village, Indramayu District/Regency, Wednesday (15/12). Kupang Regent Korinus Masneno inaugurated the construction of an ice factory using solar ice technology in Sulamu, Kupang Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province, which is considered to help increase fishermen's economic income. "The existence of the first ice factory in Kupang Regency has a big economic impact on fishermen," said Kupang Regent Korinus Masneno in Kupang, Wednesday (2/11/2022).

He said the Kupang Regency Government was very grateful to the Central Government through the Directorate General of Renewable Energy and Energy Conservation of the Indonesian Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources and the German Government through the Gesellschaft fur International Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) for supporting the construction of an ice factory in Sulamu. According to Korinus Masneno, Solar Ice Maker is a technological innovation that integrates renewable energy (solar energy) with cooling energy in a full off-grid system.
