The domestic consumption trend of flour continues to increase. In 2016, the consumption of wheat flour in Indonesia increased by 7% yoy. Recorded growth trends begin since 2013 and only decrease 1% in 2014 to 2015. Domestic manufacturers should be able to compete with imported flour products in terms of quality. So that business actors can maintain the selling power of their products in the market.
Currently 25% of imported wheat is imported compared to domestic production. According to him, the entry of imported products can not be avoided so that producers are required to compete in a healthy manner.
