Sarasa Nugraha Files Loan to Bank Panin

The management of PT Sarasa Nugraha Tbk has filed a loan to Bank Panin for working capital and raw materials. The loan will be in the form of dollars and rupiahs. However, the actual figure was not stated.

By changing its core business from garment to agri-chemistry, PT Sarasa Nugraha Tbk has projected total sales to reach Rp.250 billion and a capital expenditure of US$ 5.5 million this year. The sales target this year is slightly lower than last year’s non-audited sales of Rp.290.05 billion.
The change in the core business happened after the merger of this company with PT Indo Acidatama Chemical Industry effective October 4, 2005. Sarasa Nugraha currently produces three types of chemical materials, ethanol with a capacity of 48,650 kilolitres per year, acid acetate with a capacity level of 36,600 tons per year, and ethyl acetate with a capacity of 7,920 tons per year.
Other than that, the company has recognised a large opportunity in the development of the gasohol industry in the country. Sarasa Nugraha hopes that the production of gasohol will boost sales in the years to come. The company also plans to start exporting gasohol in the third trimester of this year, or the first trimester in 2007.
