Delta Djakarta Sued

PT Delta Jakarta Tbk was sued for Rp 1.923 billion as listed in the Bekasi Court, West Java. The lawsuit was litigated by Faiggiziduhu Ndururu. The litigator demanded a Rp 423.8 billion for the payment of computers ordered by Delta Jakarta and Rp 1.5 billion for non-material components. Delta refused to pay for the computers because the company never approved the purchase and because it never received the computers. The management considers that the litigant has wrongly accused the company. The fact is one the company’s employees, Hendra Kurniawan, has counterfeited documents as if the company has ordered the computers. Delta Djakarta’s Net Profit Doubles

Until the end of June 2005, PT Delta Djakarta Tbk. has booked Rp 196.90 billion (or a 39.4% increase) in net sales. Based on its inaudited financial report, beer duty and sales tax that must be paid reached Rp 154.41 billion or an increase of Rp 45.97 billion compared to the previous year. The emitent primary sales burden amounted to Rp 103.90 billion, which resulted in a Rp 93 billion gross profit. The company’s business profit also increased from Rp 16.57 billion to Rp 31.31 billion. As a whole, the company’s performance for semester I/2005 has grown significantly with a net profit of Rp 25.60 billion, or double of semester I/2004’s net profit of Rp 12.49 billion. The per share net profit also grew from Rp 780 to Rp 1,598 with an equity of Rp 373.367 billion from Rp 327.170 billion.
