Indospring Accelerates Steel Production to 5,500 Tons:

PT Indospring Tbk has invested US$ 7.5 million to accelerate the production capacity of steel to 5,500 tons per month from 4,000 tons per month. Around US$ 10 million will be derived from cash flow and search for the rest of the funds is still in progress. Out of all the products, 90 percent of its production are leaf springs and 10 percent of its production are coils. So far, Indospring has only exported 30 percent of its total production of leaf springs. Although last year’s turnover increased 41.9 percent from Rp.304.9 billion in 2004 to Rp.432.3 billion in 2005, the company still suffers a loss of Rp.5.84 billion as a result of the difference in exchange rates.
Indospring Improves Production Capacity and Shares Rp.937.5 Million in Dividends

PT Indospring Tbk plans to perform an expansion to increase production capacity. The company’s shareholders have also agreed to divide Rp.937.5 billion (Rp.25 per share) as dividends. The company will invest Rp.10 billion (in the form of cashflow) to expand the business. The production capacity will be increased from 3,000 tons per month to 3,500 tons per month.
