The business value of the pesticide industry is quite tempting, Calculations, if totalized all, for example from Ministry of Health, both of procurement of pesticides, provincial government, local government and district government, per year could be worth up to Rp.2-3 trillion. The figures obtained from the pesticide produced only for local needs. Not including the achievement in the realm of export figures.

The entrepreneurs who are members of the Association of Pest Control Indonesia (Aspphami) deplored the circulation of many pesticides that are not registered or does not have an official license from the government.

Chairman Aspphami, Boyke Arie Pahlavi, said, with the number of illegal pesticides, pest control resulted in a wild, resulting in pollution and environmental damage.

"Not only that, the circulation of pesticides without permission can be detrimental to health. This is due to a lack of oversight of the government," said Boyke, in the office of the Chamber of Commerce (Kadin) Indonesia, in Jakarta, Friday, May 22, 2015.
