The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) reported that Indonesia's total export value in the January to October 2022 period reached US$244.14 billion or Rp.3, 799.17 trillion supported by mineral fuel commodities such as coal. Deputy for Distribution and Services Statistics at BPS Setianto said the total export value had increased by 30.97 percent compared to the same period last year. "The export value from January to October 2022 was recorded at US$244.14 billion, an increase of 30.97 percent when compared to the same position last year," he said on Tuesday (15/11/2022).

In June 2024, the issuer engaged in coal trading and coal unloading, loading, and crushing services, PT RMK Energy Tbk (IDX: RMKE) recorded 115 ships transporting coal with a volume capacity of 916.8 thousand MT or an increase of 53% YoY compared to the same period in 2023.
In a press statement, Monday (08/07), Vincent Saputra as President Director of RMKE said that until June 2024, the Company had loaded 3.9 million coals onto 495 barges and unloaded 1,627 train sets with a total capacity of 4.04 million MT of coal.
