Lubricant Oil Recycling hold of 20% Market: March 2011

There are at least 20% even more oil or lubricating oil recycling circulating in the domestic market. Oil recycling is very likely not meeting the standard recycling operations that endanger the engine for vehicles that use it.

To prevent fraudulent use of oil or recycled oil, so far it only rely on education to the community, so do not believe with famous brands, but look at quality. Sales of major players ranging from 3-6 million KL, per year, whereas for the second major player sales ranging between 1-3 million KL per year and medium players have sales range from 600 thousand KL to 1 million / year. Pertamina lubricants marketing abroad, starting with Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates with ZIPEX brand; currently Pertamina oil output has been marketed in 10 countries among which include Belgium, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, UAE Arab, Myanmar, Singapore, Taiwan, Philippines, Timor Leste, and Australia.
South Kalimantan Regional Police Busts Fake Lubricant Manufacturer: Waspada Online, 2 June 2009

The Regional Police of South Kalimantan recently busted an establishment suspected as the manufacturer of fake lubricant for motorcycles. The establishment was located in Pangeran Hidayatillah Banua Anyar Banjarmasin Road . During the raid, the authorities found hundreds of boxes of fake lubricants of various brands, one unit of sealing device, coloring substances and tens of used lubricants’ jerry can.
