PT Samsung Electronic Indonesia aims at dominating 40 - 50 percent of the local single tub washing machine market this year following the launch of its new product with the new silver nano technology. This year, the company claims that it has dominated 30 percent of the single tub washing machine market since the year 2000. However, the product cannot be produced locally yet because it needs a production capacity of 300,000 - 400,000 per year. Therefore, the product is imported from South Korea.
