Bintang Toedjoe Attempts Judicial Review for Extra Joss-Enerjos Lawsuit

PT Bintang Toedjoe plans to apply for a judicial review in regards to the Supreme Court’s nullification of the Central Jakarta Commerce Court’s decision concerning the Extra Joss versus Enerjos (manufactured by PT Sayap Mas Utama). Previously, the Commerce Court has declared PT Bintang Toedjoe as the owner and patent holder for the Extra Joss brand. According to the Supreme Court Council, the Extra Joss brand could not be classified as a famous brand due to lack of major promotions, foreign investment and brand registration evidence. Enerjos was listed on 10 November 1998, while PT Bintang Toedjoe submitted the brand name on 15 February 2005.
