Nusantara Yet to Agree on Merger Plan

The general meeting of extraordinary shareholders of PT Nusantara Infrastruktur Tbk., which was to be, held to request its merger approval with PT Nusantara Konstruksi Indonesia (NKI), a subsidiary of Bosowa Group, was postponed until September 15 due to lack of quorum. If carried out, the merger will result in a company with a Rp 449.06 billion asset.

The management of Bosowa Group will use internal budget to finance the purchase and take-over of the Rp 280 billion Serpong-Pondok Aren toll road. Bosowa takes over 89.3 percent of Bank BNI shares. After the legalization of the purchase in the auction, by 18 July 2005, PT Bosowa Trading International becomes the major share holder of PT Bintaro Serpong Damai, which manages the Serpong-Pondok Aren toll road.
