The demand for insurance policies, both health and property, related to terrorism and sabotage (TS) after the bombing incident that occurred in the Australian Embassy in Jakarta, continues to rise. Due to its high demand, PT Asuransi Aegis Indonesia (AAI) could not fulfil all of the policy requests made by its clients, since it is still included in the insurance pool when it comes to handling that certain type of policy products.
In 2004, PT Asuransi Aegis Indonesia booked a premium of over Rp 80 billion, which was a rise compared to last year’s premium income. In addition, the companys; RBC for 2004 stood at 160 percent.
