Bukit Sentul Requests Creditor Support

PT Bukit Sentul Tbk. proposed a peace treaty to the Niaga Court Central Jakarta on December 7 2005 in relation to the bankruptcy filed by the creditor. The Bukit Sentul management is certain that the support of the creditor will help the company recover from its bankruptcy and realize the peace treaty. This bankruptcy was initiated by Azelia Birrer, from the purchase of land and building owned by Bukit Sentul worth Rp.383.8 million.

PT Bukit Sentul Tbk has invited investors to develop a 3,000 hectare area in Sentul, West Java into a housing estate and an exclusive tourism spot. For the last year, 10 investors have agreed to participate and together they have built Bellanova Mall, Islamic Centre, training centre, schools and off road training area. PT Bukit Sentul plans to position itself as master developer, which means that investors are welcome to build commercial properties or tourism spots on the land they purchase, but Bukit Sentul has the right to regulate environmental maintenance, water treatments and other sectors. Currently, 900 out of 3,000 hectares have been developed. The housing estate and exclusive tourism spot will include golf course, shops, schools, ecotourism spots, Sentul Wonderland Outbond, agritourism spots, guest houses, etc.
