Papua’s governor, JP Salossa, is planning to inquire upon the yearly amount of royalty paid by PT Freeport Indonesia to the central government. This information is needed because it is in connection to the amount to be given to the Papua government. So far, the provincial government of Papua receives 80 percent, worth Rp.120 - 150 billion, and the central government 20 percent.
