Bali Hai Brewery Win Silver and Bronze in the 2005 Australian International Beer Award

In the 2005 Australian International Beer Award who was held in April 22nd 2005, PT Bali Hai Brewery received one silver and one bronze award for their products of Bali Hai Draft Beer and Bali Hai Premium Beer respectively. These products were classified in class 1-Lager sub class pilsener, in which the criteria of this class consist of all commercial brewers authorized, licensed or registered in their country of origin, with a minimum brewlength of 30 hL. The objective of judging at the Australian International Beer Awards is to judge beer on its commercial excellence and trueness to type.

Bali Governor Wins the Case of Retail Label for Alcohol Drinks Againts PT Djangkar Delta

The Supreme Court has won the case of retail label for alcohol drink products in favor of Bali governor. The case was first brought by PT Djangkar Delta, PT Gitswara Indonesia, Multi Bintang Indonesia, and Bali Hai Brewery Indonesia following the implementation of Governor decision No. 17/2003 on the monitoring and control of alcoholic drinks, which included regulation on retail label. Alcoholic drinks producers considered this retail label policy as an additional cost from the already existing tariff. Hence increasing their production costs.
