Ballpoint Company Sues

Megusdyan Susanto, a ballpoint entrepreneur, has demanded that PT Zebra Asaba Industries, producers of ZAI ballpoints, to stop its production and distribution of ballpoint type Piccolo Zai and Zai B1000 because it has violated the refill ballpoint tip design industry. Other than that, PT Zebra Asabi is also obliged to pay damages in the amount of Rp.104 billion, by material or immaterial means, for the damages suffered by the plaintiff. The charges have already been registered in the Niaga Court in Central Jakarta.

Only 20 Industries Have License to Manage B3 Waste

Although there are more than thousands of industries operating in Jakarta, there are only 20 industries that have licenses to manage toxic and hazardous (B3) waste. The industries that already have licenses are PT Astra Daihatsu Motor, PT Zebra Asaba Industries, PT Centex, PT FMC Santana Pei and PT Yamaha Indonesia.
