WWF Indonesia Builds Information and Database System

WWF Indonesia recommended the government to build an information and database system in regards to the impacts of climate change in Indonesia. The information system would be able to identify the effects of climate change that had already occurred and also those that may occur in the future, and also pinpoint critical areas that would be highly affected by the climate change. That way, the government would be able to the help those areas to prepare for the impacts. WWF Indonesia also plans to recommend that the government prepare a preliminary warning system for natural disasters such as forest fire, flood, storm and so on. Other issues in WWF Indonesia’s agenda are recommending the government to establish climate change impact management and also improving the quality of human resource in regards to economy change affected by changing climate.
