Watson Wyatt, a Washington-based company, is currently operating in 33 countries, including Indonesia. In Indonesia, PT Watson Wyatt Purbajaga (WWP) is headed by Lilis Halim who received Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) and Global Reward Professional (GRP) degree in human resources. Under Lilis Halim’s supervision, WWP acquired 300 companies, state-owned and foreign, as clients. Watson Wyatt usually has employees exchange programs. However, due to certain restrictions such as language and job type, it is difficult to implement the program in Indonesia. In one of WWP’s surveys in Indonesia, WWP discovered that supervisors of companies in Indonesia do not give adequate motivation and guidance for their subordinates. The survey also revealed that companies do not give enough acknowledgement for their employees hard work. WWP conducts human resource related survey every two years.
