President Director of PT. Asuransi Jiwasraya Herris B. Simandjuntak showed the company’s new website, www.jiwasraya.co.id. The website latest format accommodates better internal and external services. In the first semester of 2007, the company booked premium sales of Rp.1.25 trillion. The figure is 59.82 percent of the company’s 2007 premium sales target.

PT. Asuransi Jiwasraya booked Rp.1.1 trillion in income premium during the first six months of 2006. Per June, the company has fulfilled 56 percent of its end of year Rp.1.8 trillion premium target. The state-owned corporation asset in June 2006 was Rp.3.9 trillion, which was Rp.200 billion higher than 2005’s asset. The company’s investment value was Rp.3.5 trillion (Rp.300 billion higher than last year). Hence, Jiwasraya’s risk based capital (RBC) stood at 122.33 percent. To improve the quality of its service, PT. Asuransi Jiwasraya is preparing auto debet program (in co-operation with Bank Mandiri). It is also setting up SMS Insurance Service that enables speedy communication and information relay to the company’s clients. Jiwasraya currently has 6,000 agents in 17 regional offices, 71 branch offices and 358 regional service offices.
