Sequis Completes Acquisition of MetLife Bisnis Indonesia, page B3, 2005-10-07
PT Asuransi Jiwa Sequis Life has completed the acquisition process of PT MetLife Sejahtera on 30 September 2005 and changed its name to Sequis Financial. In addition, MetLife is officially a subsidiary of Sequis Financial. MetLife insurance policy holders will still receive continuous service as usual.

The management of PT AJ Sequis Life is optimistic to acquire a total minimum premium of Rp 1 trillion through the portfolio integration of acquisitions and technological implementation in the agency’s canal. MetLife’s acquisition process has reached the document finalization stage. The acquisition is hoped to contribute to premium production. In mid July, the company that received the Bisnis Indonesia Award 2005 started the acquisition of PT MetLife Sejahtera. Sequis Life will take over all responsibilties towars 12,000 policy holders and 1,200 MetLife agents.
