PEFINDO affirmed the rating of “idA” on PT Sinar Sosro (SNSR) and its Bond I/2001 amounting to Rp.100 billion due in 2006. Factors that support the rating are the company’s strong market position, intensive marketing efforts and distribution network, and favorable financial performances. These strengths are offset by the company’s high dependency on its single product. SNSR has engaged in non-alcoholic beverage business, particularly in ready-to-drink tea segment, since 1974. The company’s tea products include Teh Botol Sosro (TBS), Fruit Tea (FT), Teh Botol Kotak (TBK), and S-Tee, and also Prim-A galloned water.
