Polytama Offers 14% to 14.75% Bond Coupons

Despite the fact that the interest level of the Bank Indonesia Certificate has risen to 8.75%, PT Polytama Propindo, a polypropylene manufacturing company, will proceed with its plan to emit Rp 500 billion worth of bonds. The company’s bonds have been published in two types, a regular debt note (Rp 300 billion) and syariah ijarah bonds (Rp 200 billion). The company’s bonds are offered with an interest level and ijarah installment fee of 14% to 14.75%. These bonds will be listed in the Surabaya Stock Exchange starting 16 September. For its bond emission, the company received A+ rating from PT Kasnic Credit Indonesia.

The bond emission documentation plan of PT Polytama Propindo, worth approximately Rp 500 billion, to Capital Market Supervisory Agency (Bapepam) would be actualized in July. The financial report used in the corporate act will refer to the company’s performance, which has been audited on 31 March 2005. After the plan has been forwarded to Bapepam, it would be forwarded to the Surabaya Stock Exchange.
